In Conflict reportsTopic number: 1425415012430

Prior to Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging 8.1.2, reports could result in a status of In Conflict, indicating that a report is most likely incorrect because of an action performed on one of the studies linked to the report. As of Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging 8.1.2, the In conflict status is no longer applied.

Causes of In Conflict reports

Prior to Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging 8.1.2, reports could result in a status of In Conflict for these reasons:
  • Internal Quality Control Fix/Merge operation—When the source study had a report before the QC operation, the report becomes In Conflict since all images are removed from the source study
  • External Quality Control operation on IMPAX—When the reported study undergoes a quality control operation in an external IMPAX system, the report is flagged as In Conflict in Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging
  • Incoming ORU message—When an External RIS system sends in an ORU message with fewer requested procedures and is then linked to an Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging Report, the report is flagged as In Conflict in Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging

As of Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging 8.1.2, the In conflict status is no longer applied. The reports keep the status they had prior to the operations listed above.

Searching for In Conflict studies/tasks

To display all the studies/tasks for which the report status is set to In Conflict, you can use the In Conflict search parameter. When you open a study or task with an In Conflict report, the report section does not display the conflicting information. Instead, a message explains the reason why the report is in conflict.

How to resolve and In Conflict report

Prior to Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging 8.1.2

When a report or addendum is flagged as In Conflict, a verify report task is created. When you start to verify the report task, the report is displayed along with a task comment that describes the In Conflict status. You can then resolve preliminary and validated reports by using tools in the toolbar. For example, in the Report tab for a previously validated report, you can click Report verified, or for a preliminary report, click Sign off later.

As of Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging 8.1.2

You perform a verify report task for studies with the validated report, if late images arrive, or a quality control operation is performed for this study. For studies with a not validated report, a task comment appears saying to verify the report content.
