- Reports: Concepts
  Reports contain one or more report sections, such as Findings and Conclusion. They can be in various statuses. They have contributors associated with them.
- Performing reading tasks
  Whether dictating with online speech recognition, digital dictation, or typing reports, you report on studies by way of reading tasks. A single reading task can contain one or more studies for which you create a single report.
- Creating a retake task
  While performing a reading task for a study with a completed acquisition task, you can create a retake task to request additional or higher quality images. Unless you specify otherwise, retake tasks are assigned according to the default task assignment rules.

  Multi-author reading workflows are organized to comply with legal requirements, professional guidelines, and common practices.

- Preparing for remote reporting
  When perform reading tasks from a remote location, the connection might have a bandwidth and latency that differs from that of the hospital network. Prepare the remote system to optimize performance.
- Creating reports
  To create reports, you can use different reporting methods. You can switch report structures, apply text macros, and apply formatting. While creating reports, you can consult patient data and comparison studies.
- Implementing text macros and normal reports
  Text macros, including normal reports, allow the report author to complete reports quickly and consistently by using a single command to insert report text.
- Completing reports
  Complete your reports by sending them to a transcriptionist or correctionist, by requesting reviews, or simply by signing them off. You can also create report addendums and edit the already validated ones.
- Previewing and distributing reports
  Review what you can do once you have created your report.
- Previewing reports in progress
  During reporting you can preview how reports look when distributed.
- Checking spelling and grammar in reports
  Check linguistic and grammatical correctness for report text that you have typed yourself.

Performing quality control
Quality control is a process of aligning the data about patients with their images, which come from different sources. Quality control is an automatic step in the unverified study workflow, but it can also be performed manually.
Accessing desktop integrations from client desktops
You can access and use third-party applications that are integrated with Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging from client desktops.
Finding studies
To find studies, use either the simple or the advanced search interface.
Customizing the desktop look and feel options
Define Collaborator, list, and search options at the user, desktop, or system level.
Maintaining security and access
In Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging, sets of access-controlled features are combined into permission sets. One or more permission sets are included security roles. Security roles are assigned to users.
Troubleshooting: Log files and known limitations
Use system log files supplied with Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging for basic troubleshooting.
Keyboard shortcuts
Use the keyboard shortcuts for quick access to your everyday tasks.
Testing the connection speed
Your administrator might ask you to communicate the bandwidth and latency values to optimize the configuration for your workstation in Administrator desktop.
