- Text macros: Concepts
Text macros consist of text that can be reused in different reports.
- Inserting text macros in reports
Insert predefined text from a text macro into a report from a catalog of available text macros. By using a text macro, you fill information into reports more efficiently and increase consistency.
- Undoing insertion of text macros
Remove a text macro or normal report using the Undo command if you decide not to use the macro, providing you have made no other changes to the report.
- Inserting normal reports
Insert the predefined report text for one particular procedure, for which no pathology or abnormalities are found, by inserting the normal report. There can be only one normal report per procedure.
- Creating a text macro
A text macro is predefined text that can be inserted in different reports using a command or keyboard shortcut. Text macros can be created from reports in progress and in the Administrator Desktop.
- Creating a normal report
A normal report is a special type of text macro. When no pathology or abnormalities are found, radiologists can write their report with one keystroke (F9) or one voice command (Normal report). They can still edit the text before signing off.
- Editing a text macro
Existing text macros can be edited as required.
- Inserting fields into a text macro
