When perform reading tasks from a remote location, the connection might have a bandwidth and latency that differs from that of the hospital network. Prepare the remote system to optimize performance.

To prepare for remote reporting

Tip:

Before working remotely, check with your administrator if automatic image retrieval is enabled for your workstation group.
  1. If working from a new remote location, proceed as follows.
    1. From the location, test the connection speed.
    2. Inform your administrator.

      If not done already, your administrator will assign your workstation to the workstation group configured for remote reporting.
