When perform reading tasks from a remote location, the connection might have a bandwidth and latency that differs from that of the hospital network. Prepare the remote system to optimize performance.
To prepare for remote reporting

- If working from a new remote location, proceed as
follows.
- Set the Image area display options for remote reporting
- Download the images you need. Do one of the following:
- Start the tasks or task lists you intend to work on.
- Ask
your administrator to configure dedicated task lists for remote
reporting.
- With Automatic image
download, if configured for your workstation group
enabled.

Note:
Currently, you cannot enable automatic image download for the My selection list. This is planned for a future release of Enterprise Imaging.
However, you can select items in the My selection list, and download these manually.
- That is configured to collect tasks or study
assigned to the login user.
This prevents bandwidth from being wasted if someone else is likely to claim the task.
If working in shared task lists, users attempting to claim tasks assigned to you are notified.
- With Automatic image

- Download images manually.
