Creating a normal reportTopic number: 1425414270869
A normal report is a special type of text macro. When no pathology or abnormalities are found, radiologists can write their report with one keystroke (F9) or one voice command (Normal report). They can still edit the text before signing off.
To create a normal report
- With a report in progress, in the report toolbar, click the text macro
icon and select Save as normal report.
Alternatively, you can select New. Select the Normal report checkbox.
and click
A code is generated automatically. For normal reports this code
is not used as a keyboard shortcut, because all normal reports share the same shortcut:
F9.
- Type a Description.
- Under Used as, from the Report list, select the report structure.
- Under Used for, select one or more procedure definitions.
Only one normal report is supported per procedure definition with the same availability. If the procedure definition you selected already has a normal report linked to it, you are asked whether to replace it.
Tip:
For variations of normal, create a regular text macro for each of them. - In the text editor on the right, optionally type text to appear for normal reports.
- Click Save & close.
Required permissions: Can create text macros and normal reports. (For more on permissions, see Security roles: Concepts.)
