Sending a report for reviewTopic number: 1425415000617

Before signing off a report, you might want a second opinion.

You can assign a review task to ask colleagues for feedback or, if required, to ask the head of department to review the report.

When you send a report for review, you can also add a comment or change the report review task priority.

To send a report for review
  1. Start reading one or more studies. Once you finish typing or dictating the report, do not sign off.
  2. On the Text area toolbar, click More > To reviewer.
  3. Select one or more:
    • Task assignment groups

These are listed at the top of the list.

    • Reviewers
  4. Optionally, type a task comment.

This comment is displayed when the reviewer starts the report review task.

  5. Optionally, select a new task priority.
  6. Click OK.
Once the reviewer has reviewed the report, the review feedback task is returned to the report author or to the task assignment group the author belongs to. This task appears in the Reading task list.

While performing a review feedback task, you can link and unlink studies from the report by selecting and clearing the checkboxes of studies.

The reviewer is registered as a reviewer, and not as an author of the report.

The order review task is performed by the user who first started it. To get the opinion of more colleagues, repeat steps 1, 2, and 3.

Required permission:
  • Can start review tasks
  • Can perform review tasks
  • Can add and remove studies to and from a task
(For more on permissions, see Security roles: Concepts.)
