Creating a secondary captureTopic number: 1425412798630

Secondary captures are copies of either one image or all screens. When you create a secondary capture, all measurements and annotations are saved as part of the copy. The copy also reflects the magnification factor, window level, and other modifications currently applied to the source.

Copies of a single image do not include the patient demographics. Copies of all screens include all visual information layers.

To create a secondary capture
  1. To open the series toolbar, move the pointer to the bottom center of the viewport.
  2. To open the capture tab, move the pointer to the camera icon.
  3. To copy one image, click Viewport only.
    • or
    • To copy all images, click All screens.

    Note:

This option is not available if multiple patients are in the Image area.

The newly created copy appears in the open studies tab of the Clinical sidebar. A secondary capture produced from all screens results in a series that contains one image per screen.
