Displaying Lunit INSIGHT MMG resultsTopic number: 1632856176271

You can view mammography studies processed by Lunit INSIGHT MMG.

Prerequisite

The mammography study has been processed by Lunit INSIGHT MMG.

Enterprise Imaging forwards relevant studies—full field digital mammography images—to the Lunit INSIGHT MMG DICOM gateway, using ILM rules. You can manually route relevant digital mammography studies to the Lunit INSIGHT MMG DICOM gateway. Enterprise Imaging receives the relevant results from the Lunit INSIGHT MMG DICOM gateway in the form of mammography CAD SR and DICOM secondary captures (SC), as part of the original study.

If the images are not sent automatically (and the integration is available), you can manually send the studies to Lunit INSIGHT for processing. On the Print and export tab, switch to the DICOM transfer tab. From the Destination drop-down list, select the LUNIT INSIGHT MMG STORE SCP destination (the default name is LUNIT) and select DICOM transfer or DICOM transfer & close.

For more information about the integration with Lunit INSIGHT MMG, contact your system administrator.

  2. Navigate through the series to view the Lunit INSIGHT MMG results for the current study.
    • For SR results:
      • When the CAD SR object is available from Lunit INSIGHT MMG, the CAD button in the Image area toolbar is enabled.
      • Other relevant functionality related to the mammography CAD display is available. For example, inclusion in dedicated presentation groups, summary in viewport demographics, contours on images, and so on.)
    • For SC results:
      • The additional image or series with burned-in findings is added to the original exam as the last series in the clinical sidebar.
      • The image contains the following information:
        • Lunit INSIGHT MMG software version.
        • Abnormality score for left and right breast.
        • Depending on the configuration, findings are highlighted on the SC with a color heatmap, single color map, grayscale heatmap, or combined heatmap.
        • If configured, the lesion score for each finding.
        • Breast density based on BI-RADS classification.
      • SC images generated by Lunit are identified by a unique series description.

    Note:

If Quality Control operations are performed in Enterprise Imaging on studies previously processed by Lunit INSIGHT MMG, the source and target studies must be routed back to Lunit INSIGHT MMG to keep Enterprise Imaging and Lunit INSIGHT MMG in sync.
