Displaying Riverain ClearRead CT resultsTopic number: 1593180769993

You can view chest CT studies, including vessel suppressed images and details on detected lung nodules, from ClearRead CT. The details can include image overlays (presentation states), summary series, or report series.

Prerequisite

The chest CT study has been processed by ClearRead CT, a third-party algorithm developed by Riverain Technologies.

For more information about the integration with ClearRead CT, contact your system administrator.

To display Riverain ClearRead CT results
  1. Open a chest CT study in the Image area.
  2. Visualize one of the following results from ClearRead CT:
    • Vessel suppressed series: Suppresses quasi-linear structures (vessels) to improve the visibility of nodules, nodule detection, and measurement fidelity.
    • Detected lung nodules: These can be shown as overlays on the original images (presentation state), in a separate series containing only the CT slices with findings, or both. (*)
    • A report: As a separate series summarizing all the detected findings, including the location, measurement, and so on. (*)

    Note:

(*) If ClearRead CT Compare is also enabled, chest CT studies can automatically be compared with a relevant comparison study for follow-up (if a relevant comparison study is available). In this case, follow-up findings are also part of the ClearRead CT results in Enterprise Imaging.

Depending which hanging protocol is configured, the ClearRead CT results (such as the overlays identifying the findings) are shown immediately, or are hidden by default.
