Tip:

To open the series toolbar, move your pointer to the lower edge of the viewport, displaying the series.

Two sections of basic cine toolbar

1Start/stop cine playback.
2Current cine playback speed.

Advanced playback

Move your pointer to the cine speed indicator in the series toolbar to open the advanced cine toolbar.

Four sections of advanced cine toolbar

1You can select a specific range of frames for playback with the trim slider.
2You can navigate frame-by-frame, play backward, and jump to first or last frame with the advanced play controls.
3You can switch between different play modes:
  • Loop: Play the cine in a continuous loop, starting at the beginning again after reaching the end.
  • Rock: Play the cine forward, then backward in a rocking motion. For example, after playing from frame 1 to frame 100, the cine will then play from frame 100 to 1.
  • Single: Play the cine forward until the last frame, once.
4You can quickly select a playback speed preset or choose to use the playback speed set in the DICOM header (if available).

Note:

If the current cine playback speed differs from the specified speed, a warning symbol appears in the lower-left corner of the image. Speed warning Cine series playback speed is commonly slower in the following scenarios:

  • When the application is not able to show the images as requested
  • When the monitor refresh rate is lower than the adjusted cine speed
