Add a series from the Open studies pane in the Clinical sidebar to the current display.

Tip:

To show the Clinical sidebar, click Show/hide Clinical sidebar in the Image area top toolbar.
To add a series from the Open studies pane in the Clinical sidebar
  1. From the Open studies pane, drag the preview thumbnail of the series to add to the current display.
  2. You can either replace a displayed series or display the series in a new viewport by adding a column or row.

    Replace a seriesDrag the thumbnail to the series to replace.
    Display in a new viewport
    1. Drag the thumbnail to the edge of where you want to insert a new viewport.

      First an arrow, then highlighted areas appear where you can display the series.

    2. While the arrow is filled, release the mouse button over the highlighted area to display the series in.
The series is added to the current display.
To add a series from the Open studies pane using the viewport schematic
  1. From the Open studies pane, drag the preview thumbnail of the series to add to the current display.

    A schematic representation of the current viewports appears next to the Clinical sidebar. The schematic mirrors the orientation, aspect ratios, and layout of the viewports on the actual monitors.

  2. Drag the preview thumbnail to a viewport on the schematic.

    As the mouse pointer moves over the schematic, viewports are highlighted beneath it.

Eye iconAn eye icon indicates a viewport currently showing the dragged series.
Dashed linesDashed lines indicate tiling within a viewport.
Link iconA link icon shown when the user hovers over a viewport indicates that the viewport is dataset linked to another viewport. All other viewports linked to this one also display the link icon, and all of them are highlighted.
