Setting options for viewing reports Topic number: 1425412211038

You can define whether the letter, all sections, or the conclusion of reports and comparison studies are displayed by default in the Text area.

To set options for viewing reports
  1. Select Tools > Options.
  2. In the Options dialog, click Text. txt
  3. Switch to the View tab and select the default view when reports exist:
    • View letter—View the rendered report
    • View all sections—View report sections
    • View conclusion—View the report conclusion section
  4. To define how the active and comparison studies are displayed in the Text area and Image area:
    If you selectThen
Active and Comparison studiesThe Active studies and Comparison studies tabs are shown in the Text and Image area when the user clicks the patient banner.
Active and All (active and comparison) studiesThe Active studies and All studies tabs are shown in the Text area and in the Image area, when the user clicks the patient banner. The All studies tab contains both active and comparison studies.
  5. To specify which comparison studies are displayed, under Additional comparison studies, do the following:
    1. Select or clear the Automatically show all studies with the same checkbox.
    2. If selected, from the list, select the set of criteria to match for both active and comparison studies.

      Tip:

The patient ID issuer is set by your administrator on one of the following levels:

      • System
      • External system
      • Desktop profile

A more specific value (for example, on desktop profile level) overrides a more general value. If a specific value is missing (for example, no desktop or external system setting), the system level value is used as fallback.

The patient ID issuer value determines which ID/issuer combination is displayed as the main patient ID in your desktop.

This ID/issuer combination is then used to find comparison studies with the same combination.

    3. Select one of available external search locations from which comparison studies are added.
    4. Specify whether you want comparison studies that have been downloaded from an external location to be added to the + tab.

      Important!

This setting requires specific configuration of the search location. You must contact your system administrator before changing it.
  6. From the Save new options for list, select User, Desktop profile, or This session only.

User is the default; it sets the options for this and future sessions. Desktop profile, if available, set the options for all users of that desktop profile, except where overridden by user options.

  7. Click Save or Save & close.

Required permissions: Can change options for desktop profile and user level or Can change options for themselves only. (For more on permissions, see Security roles: Concepts.)
