Add keywords for easy identification of studies and to make them easier to find.

You can link keywords to a study, patient, order, or report. Keyword attachments are configured by your administrator. Keyword attachments can be added to the Patient info, Report, Study (this tab has the name of a procedure), Acquisition, and Order info tabs in the Text area. You can also link keywords to studies from the List and Search area by using quick tags.

You can search through studies by keyword. For each available keyword attachment, you can configure a separate search field in the Search area and a column in the Search and List area.

To add keyword attachments
  1. To link a keyword from the Text area, in a pane, from the keyword drop-down list, select one or more values.

    Keywords are linked to a study, patient, report, or order.

  2. To link a keyword (only for order and study level keywords) from the List or Search area:
    1. Configure quick tags (Tools > Options > Lists > Quick tags).
    2. From the List or Search area, select a study.
    3. Depending on where your quick tags are configured to appear, select a keyword value on the top toolbar, or right-click the study and select a value from the context menu.

      Keywords are linked to a study or order.

Tip:

For each available keyword attachment, you can configure a separate search field in the Search area, and a separate column in the task and study lists in the List and Search areas.

  • Can add order level attachments
  • Can add patient level attachments
  • Can add report level attachments
  • Can add study level attachments
  • Can customize columns for themselves only, Can customize columns for themselves and their desktop profile, or Can customize columns for all levels
  • Can customize search fields for themselves only, Can customize search fields for themselves and their desktop profile, or Can customize search fields for all levels
  • Can search order level attachments
  • Can search patient level attachments
  • Can search report level attachments
  • Can search study level attachments
  • Can view order level attachments
  • Can view patient level attachments
  • Can view report level attachments
  • Can view study level attachments
