  To collect and communicate additional information about the patient, order, report, or study, use attachments. This includes information such as report text comments, images, hyperlinks, study keywords, and patient remarks.

- Deleting a study comment
  If a private comment no longer pertains to the patient, order, study, or report, you can delete it.
- Managing favorite comments
  You can add comments, duplicate comments, and delete comments to and from the favorite comments catalog.
- Adding user attachments
  You can link users who have an Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging account and contacts without an account to an order, report, patient, and study. User attachments are used for the types of users and contacts that are unknown in healthcare standards (such as peer learning case submitter).

You can access and use third-party applications that are integrated with Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging from client desktops.

To find studies, use either the simple or the advanced search interface.
Customizing the desktop look and feel options
Define Collaborator, list, and search options at the user, desktop, or system level.
Maintaining security and access
In Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging, sets of access-controlled features are combined into permission sets. One or more permission sets are included security roles. Security roles are assigned to users.

Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging and related viewing applications have specific indications for use.

Procedure steps display a detailed description of how the technologist performed the exam. Procedure step information is displayed only when it is supported by the modality and configured by the system administrator.

To display the procedure step details

In the Text area, select the study of interest from the Active studies or Comparison studies area.
Switch to the study details tab.
If the attachment is not visible, follow these steps:
1. Right-click and select Customize fields.
2. From the Available data elements list, select the attachment.
3. To move the selection into the Displayed data elements pane, click Move.
4. Click Save.
To show procedure step details, click Procedure steps.
The number of available procedure steps appears between brackets.
The available procedure steps are displayed in order, from the most recent (top of the list) to the oldest. Each step displays the date and time it was performed or scheduled. If a procedure step is discontinued, the reason for discontinuation is displayed, if available.
To hide procedure step details, click Procedure steps again.
