Voice clips are audio attachments that serve as an additional source of information about reports and studies. Click Play to listen to them

Prerequisite
A dictation device is installed.

Voice clips support communication within a department and with other departments.

To listen to voice clips
  1. In the Text area, select the report, study, or acquisition tab.
  2. If the attachment is not visible, follow these steps:
    1. Right-click and select Customize fields.
    2. From the Available data elements list, select the attachment.
    3. To move the selection into the Displayed data elements pane, click Move. Right arrow
    4. Click Save.
  3. To display the voice clips list, click Voice clips. Expand

    The number of available voice clips is displayed between brackets. The most recent voice clips appear at the top of the list. Private voice clips are marked with a key. Key

  4. To listen to a voice clip, click Play. Play

    To control playback volume, use the Windows Volume control options.

  5. To stop listening to the voice clip, click Stop. Stop
Required permissions:
  • Can customize text fields for themselves only, Can customize text fields for themselves and their desktop profile, or Can customize text fields for all levels
  • Can view order level attachments
  • Can view report level attachments
  • Can view study level attachments
