Adding image measurements to reportsTopic number: 1425414956358
Highlight elements of the image by using various types of measurements. You can then add measurement details in a tabular format to the report or in-line in the report text.
To add measurements to reports
- In Image area, select the image to which you want to add measurements.
- Select the type of measurement you want to add by clicking the
Distance measurement drop-down icon, and
selecting from the list.
- Add the measurement onto the image by clicking and customizing the size
of the area.
Basic measurement information is displayed by default in yellow text.
- Add additional information to the measurement by right-clicking on it,
selecting Statistics, and checking which
information you want to include.
The yellow text now displays the information you added.
- Add any other required measurements to the image as described in steps 1 to 4.
- Select one or more measurements to include in the report.
- To add a report section called Measurements, right-click and select Add to measurement section.
- To add the measurements at the position of your cursor, select Add to current report section.
- If you are working with a multi procedure report, the Measurements section is added to the appropriate procedure.
- If you decide that a measurement is no longer needed in the report,
delete it in the Measurements report section by clicking the Delete icon.
Tip:
If you want to update the measurement information, delete the current measurement in the report, redo your measurement, and click Add to measurement section or Add to current report section again.
