When you compare the images of different studies, the images are displayed on the available monitors.

Available monitorsWhere are the images displayed?
If you work on a 1-monitor workstation
  • The images of the active study are displayed on the left half of the screen.
  • The images of the study for comparison are displayed on the right half of the screen.
If you work on a 2-monitor workstation
  • The images of the active study are displayed on the left-hand monitor.
  • The images of the study for comparison are displayed on the right-hand monitor.
If you work on a 3-monitor workstation
  • The List/Text area always are displayed on the first monitor
  • Images for the active study and comparison studies are displayed in the other two monitors
If you work on a 4-monitor workstation
  • The images of the active study are displayed on the two left-hand monitors.
  • The images of the study for comparison are displayed on the two right-hand monitors.

Tip:

If you are using multiple monitors, you can also use the Clinical sidebar to display images ad hoc in the List/Text area monitor without needing to configure hanging protocols. See Displaying images on the List/Text area monitor.
