Creating a custom list of recently viewed studiesTopic number: 1522143928080

You can create a custom list of recently viewed studies and add it to activities overviews.

The following studies are considered recently viewed:

  • Studies that you opened in the Text area or Image area
  • Studies for which you performed a task, unless this task was performed from the List or Search area (for example, a print and export task)
  • All active studies from a multi-procedure order or report even if you opened only one of these studies in the Text area or Image area

If all images of a study were deleted, this study is still shown in the list.

To create a custom list of recently viewed studies
  1. In the List area, select List area > New list.
  2. Type a name.
  3. Select Studies.
  4. From the search field Recently viewed studies (period), select a value (for example, Last 24 hours).

    The search periods are configured by your administrator.

    If the Recently viewed studies (period) field is not available, add it by right-clicking any search field and selecting Customize fields, or use Advanced search.

  5. Select other search criteria.
    Example:

    Modality type | CT

    Task status | In progress

  6. Click Save & close.

    The new list is added to the current activities overview. Studies that meet the search criteria are added to the list.

  7. Optionally, to sort and filter your list of recently viewed studies and have the last viewed studies on top:
    1. Save and close the list at least once.
    2. Select your list of recently viewed studies.
    3. Right-click the column heading and select Customize columns. Checkmark
    4. In the Customize Columns dialog, from the Available list, select Last viewed date/time and click Move. Right arrow
    5. Click the Details for the selected column link.
    6. From the Sort list, select Descending.
    7. From all other columns, remove sorting.
    8. Save the new settings on desktop profile or system level, and For this list only.
    9. Click OK.

      The Last viewed date/time column is now by default displayed in descending date order for all users.
