Change the urgency of a task by changing its assigned priority.

Possible task priorities are:

Note:

Each STAT task is marked with an icon, and the total number of STAT tasks is displayed at the top of every list you work through.
Double red up arrows UrgentSecond highest priority
Single red up arrow HighThird highest priority

Black down arrow Routine Lowest priority
To prioritize tasks
  1. To change the priority of tasks in the List area:
    1. Select the tasks to reprioritize (for example, to all become high priority).
    2. Right-click one of the selected tasks and select Task priority > new_priority .

      where new_priority is one of STAT!, Urgent, High, Normal, or Low .

      If the selected tasks are of different types (for example, Reading tasks and Print export tasks), you can select to apply the new priority to only one type or to All tasks.

  2. To change the priority of a task in the Text area, select More > Task priority > new_priority .

The task priority icon is updated. Lists or search results are reordered or updated to reflect the selected priority.

Note:

Task priority can also be changed automatically by the system, based on configured escalation rules.
