Managing activities overviewsTopic number: 1425411688472
The Activities overviews pane provides an overview of the tasks to perform, studies of interest, and pending conferences. You can view the activities overviews available to you, add more, select a default, and edit the contents of ones you previously created.
- Select Manage activities overviews. or right-click the name of the current Activities overview and select
A list of the activities overviews available to you is displayed.
- Review the information, which includes the following:
- Show in drop-down list—Select the checkboxes of the activities overviews that you want included in your drop-down list in the Activities overviews pane.
- Default—Select the activities
overview that is by default shown in the Activities overviews pane.
Note:
To avoid slow retrieval of activities overviews, ensure that the most used activities overview is marked as your default so that you do not have to switch an activities overview every time they launch the application. - Personal—Indicates with a
personal icon an activities overview that is only available for you.
You can modify or delete only your own personal activities overviews.
Note:
Administrators can modify and delete any activities overview. - Available for—Specifies for which users the activities overview is available. Can be System, a task assignment group, or a user (personal activities overview).
- Active from and to—Date range from which the activities overview is active. If Active to is blank, does not expire.
- To create another activities overview, click New, or select one and click Duplicate.
Having multiple activities overviews can be useful if working from different hospital sites or in multiple roles.
Example:Radiologists can have one activities overview for diagnostic work and another one for research work. - To change which tasks, studies, and conferences appear in an activities
overview, select it and click Edit.
To modify an activities overview that is not personal, duplicate it first. The duplicated overview then appears in the list showing a personal icon.
You can also select and delete personal activities overviews.
Required permissions: Can configure activities overviews and conferences, Can configure activities overviews and lists, or Can configure activities overviews only. (For more on permissions, see Security roles: Concepts.)
