You can modify a registration of comparison studies using the registration tab of the Clinical sidebar.

To modify a registration
  1. In the Clinical sidebar, click the Registration Registration icon to expand the Registration tab.

    The registration tab contains all available registration for the frame of reference of the currently selected viewport. A tooltip will provide additional information for each registration. It will show which series of which study was used to perform the registration.

  2. If multiple registrations are available for the current frame of reference, select the registration you want to modify and click Modify.

    The layout changes to MPR view (unless configured to open in Fusion view) and displays the two series associated with this registration. You can switch the view using the hanging protocol gallery, or set your preference in Image area user options.

  3. Modify the registration as needed by choosing from the following options:

    Manual RegistrationUse the tools to move or rotate a registration in any one of the three directions. You can also define the step size and the angle of rotation.

    Automatic Registration

    		The registration is done again and any changes made by manual or local registration are undone.

    Local Registration

    		Define a region on any of the series available in the modification layout to improve the registration, and the registration will be recomputed.

    While a registration is being modified, you cannot do the following:

    • Change the data of a registration viewport
    • Use the hanging protocol gallery
    • Use the advanced linking editor
    • Create snapshots
  4. When you have finished, click Finish. At any time you can discard any changes by clicking Cancel.
The layout switches back to the original layout present prior to starting the modification. All subsequent changes will take into account the changed registration information.
