Use the calibration circle to manually calibrate an image with a circular reference object.

To manually calibrate an image with the circle tool
- In the Image area top toolbar, markup list, click Calibration circle.
A circle appears beside the pointer to indicate that the markup tool is active.
- To place the first handle defining the circle, click the edge of the circular reference object.
- To enlarge or reduce the circle to fit the reference object, move the pointer.
- To complete the circle and open the Calibration dialog, click the opposite edge of the reference object.
- In the Calibration dialog, New
diameter field, type the diameter of the reference object.
If necessary, you can change the unit of measurement and decide whether the calibration is applied to only the current image, the entire series, or a custom selection.
