Taking image snapshotsTopic number: 1425411765329

You can use any of the available image transform tools to store the state of images in the Image area, then restore this state (a snapshot) for conference activities.

A snapshot includes the current state of the Image area layout, shown images, content of the clinical sidebar, linking of the viewports, markups, calibration, and so forth.

Display and ordering rules do not override the snapshot. All snapshots can be accessed from the Snapshot gallery.

To configure how snapshots are saved, navigate to Tools > Options and switch to the Save tab.

To take image snapshots
  1. In the Image area, open the study.

    Important!

If the primary active study is from a location other than the main Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging server (for example, from a file or an external location) or has no images, the Snapshot options are disabled.
  2. Using any of the available image transform tools, layout the study for the conference. Some layout examples include:
    • Define the screen layout
    • Link viewports
    • Set window levels, rotation, and magnification
    • Add any markups
  3. From the Image area top toolbar, click Snapshot. Snapshot

All snapshots appear in the Snapshot gallery. Snapshot gallery

  4. Take any other snapshots required for the study.

To update a snapshot, delete the old one and create another.

It is possible that your system could be configured so that snapshots are not retained using the Never keep snapshots of studies option.

Required permission: Can take snapshot and Can delete snapshot. (For more on permissions, see Security roles: Concepts.)
