During a case follow-up task, control if the actions to be taken for a case are processed.

Depending on the defined action points, the user performing a case follow-up task:

  • Contacts users to take corrective actions, change procedures, and so on
  • Follows up to find out if the actions were taken
  • Contacts the HR department to organize training
  • Submits the case for group review at a conference
  • Enters data on the Peer learning tab for identifying actions taken
To perform case follow-up tasks
  1. In the List area, select a task and click Start case follow-up.
  2. On the Peer learning tab, register the actions taken.
    Example:
    For example, use the field Action items or add a comment under Action history.
  3. Do one of the following:
    ActionsDescription
    Close case

    You can close the case, if no other actions must be performed for the current case.

    Request feedback

    You can request feedback on a conclusion you made.

    Once this task is completed, the case follow-up task after feedback is assigned to you or to another assignee or assignment group.

    Discuss case at conferenceYou can submit a case to be discussed at a conference.
Required permissions:
  • Can add studies to conferences included in my activities overviews
  • Can add studies to conferences I participate in
  • Can close cases
  • Can create case feedback tasks
  • Can start case follow-up tasks
