Perform a new case task to evaluate a report or to share a learning opportunity.

To perform new case tasks
  1. Select one or more studies.
  2. Click Start new case.
  3. Review the study images and the report, if available.
  4. Complete fields in the Peer learning tab, as necessary.

    For example, select a score, type a narrative, and add an observation as a comment.

  5. To complete the new case task, click one of the following buttons:

    Close caseYou can close the case, if no other actions must be performed for the current case.

    Send for review

    Send for review with options

    If you select Send for review, a case review task is created and assigned automatically to a default assignee (such as program administrator) or assignment group.

    If you select Send for review with options, you specify which assignee or assignment group a case review task is assigned.

    Case review tasks are typically assigned to the program administrator.

    Needs follow-up

    Needs follow-up with options

    If the follow-up on corrective actions is required, create a case follow-up task.

    If you select Needs follow-up, a case follow-up task is created and assigned automatically to a default assignee or assignment group.

    If you select Needs follow-up with options, you specify to which assignee or assignment group a case follow-up task is assigned.

    Once necessary actions are taken, the case can be closed.

    Request feedback

    You can request feedback on a conclusion you or another user made.

    Once this task is completed, the new case after feedback is assigned to you or another assignee or assignment group.

    Discuss case at conferenceYou can submit a case to be discussed at a conference.
    Cancel caseCancel a case if you do not see any learning opportunity.
