If late images arrive for a study with a validated report or a quality control operation is performed for this study, a verify report task is created. Check the report to ensure that it is still valid.

To verify a report
  1. From your task list, select the study to verify a report for.
  2. Select Start verify report. Red Q

    A message informs you why the verify report task was created.

  3. Review the report content to check whether the changes to the images affect the report conclusion.
  4. For a previously validated report or addendum, take the appropriate action:
    • Accept the report. Click Report verified.
    • Add information to the report. Click Start addendum task and follow the addendum process.
    • Edit the report. Click Undo sign-off.

      Important!

      This invalidates the report.
    • Remove the report and its addenda completely. Click Delete report.
    • Cancel the verify report task. Click Cancel.

    Note:

    For external reports created using the desktop integration, only the options Report verified,Delete report and Cancel are available.
  5. For a preliminary report or addendum, take the appropriate action:
    • Proceed with the normal reporting workflow, using options such as Sign-off later or Sign-off, and send to correctionist/transcriptionist.
    • Remove the preliminary report entirely. Click More > Delete report.

You have now confirmed that the report matches the images or taken action to ensure that it does.
