You can access and use third-party applications that are integrated with Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging from client desktops.

- Integrating with QDoc
  When the QDoc third-party RIS application is integrated with Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging, you can start QDoc from an Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging desktop or you can access Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging from QDoc.
- Reporting using a third-party reporting application
  When a third-party reporting application is integrated with Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging, you can start your report or addendum reading and sign-off task in Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging and create or sign off your report or addendum in the third-party reporting application.
- Opening the INVIA Corridor4DM software
  When the INVIA Corridor4DM software is integrated with Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging, you can open the INVIA Corridor4DM software in the Image area from the Hanging Protocol Gallery.
- Exporting INVIA Corridor4DM reports to Enterprise Imaging
  Reports created in INVIA Corridor4DM can be saved to disk, sent back to Enterprise Imaging as an encapsulated PDF, or sent via HL7.

Desktop integration refers to using external applications from within an Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging desktop.

In what desktops are desktop integrations used?

Desktop integrations are configured in the Administrator Desktop. They can be made available to all non-administrator desktops or only to particular workstation groups or workstations.

Desktop integrations with an external reporting application are available only in desktops where reading tasks can be performed.

About single sign-on

The integrations use single sign-on, meaning that the same user ID and user password are known to both Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging and the integrated application. The password can have a maximum of 16 characters.
