Java application stack updates
To ensure that you can use Enterprise Imaging without having to worry about Information Security and Privacy (ISP) issues and benefit from long term support, the latest ISP updates for Java, SSO and JBoss have been applied to the Enterprise Imaging platform.
Streamlined support for JPEG 2000 transfer syntaxes
The JPEG 2000 transfer syntaxes—1.2.840.10008.1.2.4.90: JPEG 2000 Image Compression (Lossless Only) and 1.2.840.10008.1.2.4.91: JPEG 2000 Image Compression—are once again supported by default.
Upgrade compatible Enterprise Imaging Web Server versions without downtime
Upgrading compatible versions of Enterprise Imaging without downtime has been expanded to include the Enterprise Imaging Web Server. If the installer detects that you are upgrading to a compatible Enterprise Imaging version, then it can perform a (rolling) upgrade of the without downtime.
Compatibility between different Enterprise Imaging versions mainly applies to limited scope releases, that do not include changes such database, OS, embedded software components, or APIs changes.
